    The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will represent the Company and its dermatology portfolio, initially focusing on an FDA approved novel boron-containing small molecule for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.


    As a member of the Medical Affairs field-based team, the MSL will identify and engage with health care providers (HCPs) in dermatology and pediatric dermatology, providing disease state information and responding to unsolicited medical requests for information.  Additionally, the MSL will identify interested researchers, and educational opportunities.  The MSL will be required to collaborate with commercial colleagues when compliantly tasked. It is expected, that the MSL be solidly versed in the clinical data such that the full range of innovative science and clinical outcomes can be appreciated by the healthcare practitioner, formulary member and/or Payer. 


    • Identify HCPs within institutions, hospital systems, group and private practices, payers and pharmacy management groups within their assigned region
    • Develop scientific relationships with HCPs within aforementioned groups
    • Represent the Company at Medical Conferences in the capacity of medical booth coverage, clinical session coverage and/or competitive intelligence gathering
    • Communicate identified research interests to appropriate internal stakeholders
    • Effectively shepherd the Organization’s or HCPs’ research interests per Company policy and procedures
    • Adhere to all Company policies and SOPs
    • Complete activity, travel & expense, and compliance documentation
    • Respond to HCP unsolicited inquiries
    • Communicate to HCPs approved scientific or clinical data or disease state information consistent with the medical imperatives of the Company and in accordance with Company's policies and SOPs
    • Present scientific and disease state presentations to formulary committees at institutions, payers and managed care organizations (ACOs, MCOs, PBMs)
    • Attend Medical Advisory Boards as needed
    • Deliver and support clinical training of Company's commercial colleagues as needed


    • PharmD, PhD, DO, and MD
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience as a field-based medical liaison or health economics research MSL preferred 
    • Clinical experience in the dermatology, immunology and/or anti-inflammatory management area preferred
    • Thorough grasp of the pharmaceutical industry, FDA requirements and PhRMA code
    • Proven track record of success in opinion leader development, payer interface and institution navigation
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, team, written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong presentation and education skills; ability to communicate clinical and non-clinical technical information effectively
    • Demonstrated project management ability
    • Travel up to 60-70%
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
    • Valid driver’s license
