    Hemophilia Nurse Educator (International)

    Serving as a country specific independent contractor and field-based extension of our Client's Global Medical Affairs, the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will represent the Company and launch of its personalized care Hemophilia A medical device. The CNE will educate and support caregivers,  patients and healthcare practitioners on how to utilize the medical device, and associated free web-based and mobile application in the worldwide market in support of the Company Hemophilia A strategy. The educational sessions, clinical in-services and product training provided by the CNE will support the effective utilization of the device. The CNE will collaborate with the Company local medical teams to identify and prioritize activities in these countries to educate and advance the outcomes of patients.

    Accountabilities

    • Provide clinical in-services and scientific education to patients (upon HCP request), and related Health Care Practitioners (HCPs).
    • Respond to requests from HCPs and patients related to the medical device, patient application and PK guided prophylaxis.
    • Develop and maintain authentic relationships based on value of experience, expertise and delivery of service to community based Hemophilia A experts, patients and related HCPs.
    • Demonstrate clinical, scientific and technical expertise in PK guided prophylaxis in Hemophilia A
    • Align with local medical teams to effectively implement corporate, scientific and clinical strategies within the specific Hemophilia A community
    • Respond to requests from local medical teams to interact with community-based HCPs to provide described educational sessions
    • Discover and communicate relevant customer information and insights on the medical device to support medical strategies, as appropriate, utilizing appropriate Company tools, e.g. CRM
    • Support in interpreting clinical insights and intelligence on the market environment, clinical strategies, competition and other developments relevant to the company’s success

    Compliance Requirements

    • Recognize and capture spontaneous reports of suspected adverse reactions to Hemophilia A specific medicines to Company Medical Information.
    • Work toward meeting established program metrics, follow and complete all relevant administrative and reporting responsibilities consistent with SOPs and country guidelines including but not limited to required training, field activity documentation, expense reporting and other assigned tasks.
    • Participate in and successfully complete all internal education / training on SOPs, policies and relevant products; as well as all compliance training and regulatory education relevant to pharmaceutical industry by country guidelines
    • Manage travel and local expenses in accordance with Company, TMAC, country guidelines/policies

    External Contacts/Customers

    • Upon request of the HCP and if within local regulations: Hemophilia A patients & caregivers
    • If within local regulations and upon request of the local Company medical team:  Hemophilia A support groups & associations
    • Hemophilia A HCP experts

    Internal Contacts/Customers

    • Report to local medical team lead or Country medical Head
    • Interact, as directed by the country medical lead, with other functions in the countries.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) preferred, RN, nursing degree based on country requirements
    • Active nursing license or certification in good standing
    • 1- 3 year hematology experience required, hemophilia experience highly preferred
    • 3+ years clinical nurse experience preferred
    • Pharmaceutical experience highly preferred
    • A working knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements is preferred
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required to effectively carry out the responsibilities of this position
    • Ability to build productive work relationships both internally and externally
    • Individuals should possess strong interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication
    • Computer skills including basic working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ability to utilize general Company software
    • A willingness to travel frequently (up to 80%) within assigned geographical territory, including overnight travel. May be requested to travel out of territory to attend meetings
    • Valid country Driver’s license
