The Medical Information Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day initiation and maintenance of Adverse Event (AE) and Product Complaint (PC) reporting, first line support of the TMAC call center, as well as other responsibilities supporting the Medical Information department.


  • First line support for TMAC Medical Information Call Center:
  1. Fielding calls from sales reps, consumers and healthcare professionals on behalf of all clients
  2. Identify the caller’s needs, input his or her information into the database and either handle the call or triage the call to the appropriate Medical Information Specialist
  3. Respond to all faxes, voicemails, emails and Medical Information Requests that come through the Medical Information department
  4. Check client email and voicemail boxes on a daily basis
  • Process AE and PC cases for clients as needed
  • Maintain/Update sales rosters in IRMS
  • Document fulfillment
  • Handle miscellaneous projects within the Medical Information Department


  • Associates Degree or relevant work experience
  • Pharmacy Technician or LPN background preferred
  • Possess basic writing skills
  • Communicates well via phone and writing with Client and Field Based Medical Personnel
  • Proficient in outlook, word processing, PowerPoint and Excel
